Rules

:bulletgreen: This is a Photography Only Group.

:bulletblue: So far, submissions are set at a global submission limit of 5 a day. This may change as the group grows.

:bulletblack:Submissions that are declined will be added to the Favorites folders.

:bulletred: Please submit to the correct Gallery Folder.

:bulletblack: While I'm not asking that every photo be professional-grade, please, no blurry, badly focused shots, or huge watermarks that detract from the image.

:bulletyellow: Due to character limits when naming Gallery Folders, full lists of animals/birds accepted into folders that contain 'etc' in the titles have been listed in the Gallery Descriptions.

:bulletgreen: When submitting photos, please keep in mind that this is a Canadian wildlife group. Which means that only Canadian animals are allowed. (You, yourself, do not need to be from Canada, but the photo in question must have been taken in Canada.)

:bulletpurple: It would be appreciated if a note of where the photo was taken was included in your deviation's description. Or, at the very least, if you could assure me that the photo was taken in Canada. It'll make it easier when it comes to deciding what submissions to admit, because constant questions from us entailing 'where was this taken?' will get old fast. =P

:bulletblue: Canadian animal photos taken in Canadian Zoos, Wildlife Centres and so forth, are, currently, allowed. Please keep fencing and such as minimal as possible.

:bulletwhite: No humans please.

:bulletblack: For a list of Canadian Wildlife, please see these Wikipedia links:
Fauna of Canada.
Birds of Canada.

:bulletred: If you're unsure about something, or have a question, please feel free to either drop a comment or send me a note.

:bulletyellow: And, above all, have fun!

Do you have a section for pigeons/doves?

Sort of. They're in the 'catch all' folder of "Cardinals, Chickadees, Waxwings, etc..."

Hm, I think it might be more intuitive if you had a folder called "Other Birds" or something. Thanks for letting me know :)

Is there a easy way to tell what folders things are in? :>  Like I have a couple of photo's of starlings, but not sure if they count as they are introduced, european starlings.

Starlings would go into the 'Grackles, Red-Winged Blackbirds, etc' folder.

You'll see, if you view the folder's contents, that there is a listing on the left side detailing what species are allowed into the folder. Every folder in the gallery has this list.

Sorry for the late reply, btw. :)
